The staff at EUSWX would love for our members to be an integral part of the conference this year, so we will be once again doing our Friday night exhibition. Last year featured several wonderful exhibits and attendance was high.

On June 22nd, starting at 8:00 p.m., we will have weather and weather-related interests on exhibit. Authors and photographers are welcome to set up tables and display books they have written or have for sale. We will also have spots for members, meteorologists, and forecasters to display their weather-related memorabilia. Items to display could include such things as storm chasing pictures or video and assorted information on significant snowstorms of the past.

Along with the display booths, this year we are trying a new addition to the exhibition. We are asking members to submit posters for a poster display session. The posters can contain research, case studies, and other meteorology related topics. Meteorology students and meteorologists are especially encouraged to submit posters.

This will be another excellent opportunity for board members and weather hobbyists to meet and greet each other. A cash bar will also be available.

Space is available but limited. If you are interested in exhibiting your items, let us know as soon as possible. We would really like to see our members participate! Check this page often for updates on displays!

So far, we have the following folks set up with a booth:

  • Joseph Hyer
  • Peter Grimm
  • Weather Underground's Tim Roche
  • Mark Grossman
  • Don sutherland
  • Dr. Morgan Hurm (nesis)

To reserve a spot, please contact Randy Legette either by email randylegette@hotmail.com or send stormtracker a private message on the forum before June 1, 2007!
