And a screenie, in case it changed (which it most likely will, noting temps)

If only I could live at 9000ft.

Indeed.

I noticed that there were two fall-looking systems progged to travel along the border.

Might be some good snow in the Canadian Rockies, too.

Hey- What's with all this mid-August snow in the west?

I was en route to Seattle (driving) when the mountain snow was forcasted, so I missed it. But I froze my butt off on the way there - temps were in the low 50's with a cold drizzle in mid-afternoon in Missoula. Cranked the heat up quite a bit in the car.

Then on the way back I overheard the Bozeman forecast on the radio. "Highs in the upper 80's on Saturday with temps in the 60's on Sunday. Expect high temps in the upper 40's on Monday." WTF laugh.gif

NWS is indeed forecasting a high temp of 49 on Labor Day and the leaves are already turning yellow... I feel like I hardly knew ya, summer.

Jak-

Beautiful area, but i don't know if i could handle such a short warm season. However, saying that, at least you aren't too far from milder temps. Just jump on Amtrak and head to Seattle...
