The largest snowstorm I have ever seen in my life in Montana is currently pounding the area. 2-4 inch forecast busted, as did the current 6-12" forecast. Looks like it's gonna snow through the evening with total accumulations approaching two feet in Bozeman. Absolutely stunning.

For some reason I found this pic amusing...looks like the ol' windshield wiper trick here may have backfired here.

Anyway...congrats! Send some east for us!

Just got back from classes (we don't close schools for nuthin ;)) and took some pics on the walk back. Have nearly two feet now making this the second largest single snowstorm in Bozeman history. NWS has bumped up our forecast to 18-24 inches with several more inches expected before it's all said and done.

You lucky bastard !!!!

Man, I can't wait to have it here ...

BTW it looks like a very nice and wet snowfall, as the ones we have here with Mediterranean lows.

Congrats dude :snowman:

Looks like you've been getting a good amount of snow lately...last winter was good for you also right?

I hope we get a couple good sized systems in this year here...

Great pics.

Dude that's awesome! I'm jealous but meteorologically this is amazing for Bozeman. Stunning pics and keep taking them... not just to post here but with a historic event you can never record too many images. You'll always treasure those pics. Truly an epic snowfall that came out of nowhere.

yep, this winter is just picking up where last winter left off it seems. Last winter we got 140" of snow - our second snowiest winter on record. The winter before that was great too.
