Here is a link to some incredible pics from La Presse in Quebec City of pics submitted by readers during their record-breaking winter. There are 31 pics in the slideshows, some of them are quite unbelievable. :o

It's not related to the snow, but this picture is pretty cool

I'd like to see a slide show of pics from Ottawa and surrounding areas. Although we don't have as much SOG as Quebec City, it's quite unbeliaveble here.

i wish i had not been so lazy after the blizzard 2 weeks ago...

now the snow is looking beaten down and soggy, though there is still lots and lots of it.....we need to freshen it up and then ill be sure to take more!

I agree 100%. I love snow and everything but just like anything else in life, you get tired of it if you have too much of it. Now to get that amount in 1 storm would be unreal. But to accumilate that over months and months would really suck.

it is depressing for a lot of people. obviously people are used to snow here but this year has been way too extreme for most people (aside from snow weenies and winter enthusiasts)...these are pics from urban areas so people who live in cities generally arent snow lovers.

its been tough on a lot of folks thanks to the amount of snow and the ridiculous duration of the season, with a heavy snowpack on the ground since november which continues to grow...and the only warmup was the few days of jan blowtorch. other than that, its been relentless winter. today was frigid, mid-jan like winds though the march sun made it more tolerable.. this is highly anomalous weather, even for these parts of canada.

Yeah, I still can't believe I missed the blizzard of a lifetime. I'll have to go to Labrador next winter on holidays instead of FLorida to make it up. I'm sure my wife will love the idea.

No offence, but we were born in this weather, it's in our blood. There's NOTHING depressing about getting pounded over and over again by winter storms!

In about 20years or so, when I retire yes. Until then 2 weeks a year is plenty. If you would have told me that on March 8, Ottawa was going to get a 2 foot blizzard, I'd have rescheduled my trip to Florida. I live for this man, I know it's hard to understand.
