A quick look suggests some data from that site might need updating (or the UCC coop data I've downloaded is erroneous.) Two examples come to mind. First is MWN, where the 2005-06 total isn't even top 10; 1976-77 was just under 500" and 1968-69 was probably over 550", though my UCC numbers are missing three critical big-snow days in late Feb/early Mar. Second is WA, where both Mt. Baker and Rainier/Paradise have cracked 1,000".

I'm fairly sure those two figures are wrong: Connecticut's state record was set at Norfolk, but the snowfall was 177.4 inches in 1955-56. The correct figure for Massachusetts is 162.0 inches at Monroe in 1892-93.

Yeah there is some ugly data in there. I've seen this page before and it definitely needs some data overhauling.

I know that at least the total from Vermont is off. Jay Peak averages 355 inches annually. Jay Peak had 419inches in the winter of 07/08. I don't know what the record is for the state.

West Virginia is off as well as I am pretty sure Kumbrabow State Forest has received over 300 inches in at least one year.

I believe Kumbrabow State Forest set the state record with 301.4 inches in 1959-60.

Washington State is wrong as well. Mount Baker set the world record for snowfall in 98/99 with 1140 inches.
