Absolutely amazing.

Water rescues taking place right now. It's about 18 degrees right now in Bethesda.

DC/MD/VA folks, turn on your local news.

Everyone else can watch is nationally, CNN, FOX, CNNHN, MSNBC.

We've been watching it also. The scene of the boat trying to go against the current was amazing considering it was just a water main break.

Haha, indeed.

Tony's busy I'm sure. Maybe we'll get an update later this afternoon.

I can't imagine what I would do if I was driving then suddenly there's 4 feet of water coming at me.

Well at least the salt spreaders can get some use now to help with the ice. I'm thinking if we try real hard this can be classified as a winter storm for Bethesda

I got the call via my scanner, and started watching the news right away (I guess my early thread didn't get as much attention...oh well).

Ironically, the road that has the huge amount of water on it is call "River Road"

I really wanna see this road a sheet of ice GO AWAY SALT TRUCK.

When they said it on WASH-FM when I was going to breakfast, I thought that's what happened. I thought people got frozen in their cars. Then I got home and turned on the TV, it was crazy.
