This area received 17 inches per the NWS out of Binghamton. I saw a little less, but it was probably due to compaction. One resident told me he measured 15 inches in his backyard. Any you look at it it's impressive for October.

Steve,
Awesome photos, #1 is the tops bro. I may even print that out here on my photo printer.
The leaf color and the snow contrast is amazing.
I see what Andy is seeing too, the two last sets are working. Probably reached your photo sotrage limit. You need to go my controls I think to delete some old ones

Notice the leaves are now AT PEAK, which is roughly 2 weeks behind 'normal' peak. My tree-hugging hippie connection tells me this is from the delayed leaf-out that occurred in April.
Brilliant imagery BTW.

Thanks all! I made sure that each pic had foliage in it to document the rarety of the event. Any shot without it could have been taken in January.

Nice pictures. Was there any tree damage? looks like a lot of snow and that many of the trees still had leaves which is usually a bad combo.

Great pics, Steve!
That first one is just breath-taking. The color on the trees in the background makes it so epic.
