We have an 83 kt pixel now as the convection comes around.

Watching the various loops, it doesn't look like there's anything pushing/pulling this thing inland. IMO, it appears it's taken a more Easterly jog and continues to parallel the coastline.

For future reference Josh - Humberto looks to be heading to an area that is about as sparse as Kenedy county, and not very accessible.

I have at least 79 Kts now., and in a good section of it, not just small and in 1 frame.

EDIT: Up to 81 Kts now.

I meant that its not just a radar bleep. Its about 3 miles in area.

Never mind the distance alright, The point is the winds are up on the radar, and im also tired and grumpy, as I just had to bury a family member...

Yeah, last 2 frames have been showing the strong winds over a more significant area.

Also, a buoy just offshore of Galveston reported sustained winds of 48 mph, gusting to 57.
