I hear reports they closed the parkway in ocean county NJ.

Anyone have any reports from that area.

The dopplar radar from the area shows they got 6-8inches of rain in a few hours.

The flooding down there must be so bad, for them to completely close it up.

Its not moving fast...we've been getting it for about 90 minutes and it keeps filling in to our east east it spreads west.

We got a break now after 2-3 hours of steady, moderate rain.

Radar estimates of 6-7" over eastern Long Island. Reports now of road washouts in the area.

Wow...

Looks like they just keep getting pumelled by heavy rain. I think I barely got an inch today.

I think that might be too much unless it rained a lot at night, cause I'm sure over the course of today I didn't get much more than an inch.
