About EUSWX
For over 3 years EasternUSwx.com has been a leader in the online weather community. Thanks to a mix of interested hobbyists and top meteorologists, discussion ranges many spectrums and offers insightful looks at what is happening and what can be expected. Originally a site for people to discuss winter weather, EasternUSwx.com has proven time and time again to be a year-round weather board with expert opinions on and general discussion of hurricanes, severe storms, heat waves, and more. When the next blizzard of ’96 threatens or when a major storm such as Katrina bears down on the coastline, EasternUSwx.com is the place to be to find the information that matters.

Hurricane's View: Where the Weather Fanatics Go

February 18, 2009 – Philadephia's Glenn 'Hurricane' Schwartz shares his thoughts on a phantom day-5 Major East Coast Snowstorm as depicted on the ECMWF and GGEM models. Transitioning to talk about the best weather forum on the internet, Schwartz says: Now if you want to continue these weather fantasies and not just look at the computer maps yourselves -- if you're into that -- what I would suggest that you do is go to this site called the Eastern U.S. Weather Forums...

Not sure if this was posted before. Don't know any details on it. Just saw it for the first time. Scary stuff and a very close call.

Well, how many?

Looking back at June, the lack of heat has been amazing. Central Park only hit 80 three times before the 23rd (hit 80+ 6 times in a row to end the month, but the highest monthly temperature was an incredible 84), with no 80+ readings from the 12th to the 23rd--just astonishing for June.

Central Park actually did hit 90+ twice so far this year, but those days were back at the end of April--not summer. You can tell we've had a cool summer when June's max temp is colder than both April's (92) and May's (86).

I'll guess that we will see a few days over 90 (not more than 4), and we'll hit 93 for our summer max.

Anyone have them for any previous winters? Especially more recent ones. Looking for mainly Asheville proper. Doesn't matter if they are official or not. Thanks.
